Oyster art is so popular in Louisiana and this is no exception. The oysters we use come from the Gulf of Mexico and are sourced in Houma, LA from locally owned businesses.
The oyster shell is painted on the back surface, even though you can't see it all. On the front, it is edged with gold leafing and has a little sparkle added. The wood is distressed and weathered with a splash of off white added. The art is ready to hang and has a saw tooth hook on the back.

Local pick up is at Joe's Boots of Houma, 6289 W. Park in the Cannata's Plaza Shopping Center, Houma, Louisiana.
