Rustic farmhouse beauty describes this piece made of reclaimed wood. It is perfect for those who want to add character to their home or office by adding imperfect pieces of home decor.
Outside Dimensions:
13" long x 5 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" deep
Inside Dimensions:
12 1/2" long x 4 1/2" wide x 3 3/4" deep
This tray is made from reclaimed wood from Morgan City, LA. A man in Morgan City was tearing down houses and this wood was destined for a burn pile. A childhood friend of mine, Jude, found out about this wood going to a burn pile and rescued it. Jude already had a shop to do something with the reclaimed wood. Jude and I are working together to get this wood repurposed and recycled into pieces that are once again treasured. More reclaimed wood pieces are coming to my shop. Each one is unique and very much one of a kind.
The wood still has some of the paint on it in some places and the paint has worn off in other areas. You will find imperfections consistent with reclaimed wood. The wood has not been sealed and is put together with nails.
This box easily holds 3 quart-sized mason jars. (Jars in the photograph are not included.) My husband uses one to keep his grooming gear all in one place: electric shaver, electric toothbrush, cologne and so on. The box can hold office supplies, small toys, electronic gadgets, etc. It is great as a place for someone to throw their wallet, keys, etc. when they come in from work or play.
